Research Focus

Studying growth abnormalities in Kabuki syndrome 2, a Mendelian disorder of the epigenetic machinery (MDEM). This class of disorders results from germline mutations in regulators of the epigenome, leading to dysregulation of chromatin state. I intend to be a physician-scientist, with a clinical specialty in medical genetics.
